Hurricane Jeanne: September 2004
On Sunday, Sept 26, 2004, Hurricane Jeanne destroyed the home of Owl Goingback
and his family. These photos were taking shortly after the hurricane hit.
Owl's house immediately after the hurricane (note the
plywood covering the family room windows). Because the house has a flat
roof, the damage done by Jeanne is not visible on the outside.

feather dance bustles belong to Owl and his son Mike.

Owl's office. His chair and desk are on the left, buried under a
mound of insulation. Note the covers of his children's books on the back
wall.

The floor in Owl's office is littered with damaged items and
ceiling material.

The garage. Mike's car is on the left, buried under ceiling
material.

Hurricane Jeanne tore the roof off the house and dropped it on
the patio.

The shed in the backyard took a beating.
